OpenAI’s latest Purchase️

In the AI world there are giants. There’s the big giants : microsoft, Google and the rest. Then there’s startups, OpenAI is the giant of the AI startups. Its the creator of most famously ChatGPT and Dall-E.

A few days ago it pulled this move. It purchased the domain name AI.com for an undisclosed amount, though it is believed to be a multi-million dollar deal. If you visit AI.com, you will now be redirected to OpenAI's language model, ChatGPT.

This acquisition is significant as it highlights OpenAI's focus on the development and advancement of artificial intelligence technology, and gives the organization a high-profile domain name to help further its mission.The previous owner of AI.com, a startup called AIDA, had used the domain name to provide "conversational AI solutions," but now redirects to OpenAI.

OpenAI’s Investments

OpenAI has made relatively few investments. Of course it’s also a startup so it kind of can’t afford to have a gigantic fund but here are some of their investments.

3. Speak - Helping the world become more fluent in languages. Starting with English.

4. Harvey - A lawyer assistant for higher quality output
